North Clwyd Animal Rescue - Christmas Open Day

Like many good and responsible rescues, running costs are at an all time high due to the large volumes of animals being abandoned, abused or simply no longer wanted. North Clwyd Animal Rescue is a very good rescue, it cares for all the animals in its care and some of these animals have been there too long. I have been a supporter of this rescue for a few years now, I have walked the dogs, run stalls at the open days, arranged fund raising when working at HBOS and most recently become a Home Checker for animals being rehomed.

To help raise the much needed funds to care for their animals, the annual Christmas Open Day is being held on Sunday 12th December between 11am and 3.00pm.

Why not come along and visit the animals in their care, and you can even leave gifts for them in their very own stocking. Father Christmas will be making a special visit to the children and dogs that come along on the day. With a variety of stalls, tombolas, raffles, entertainment and refreshments served all day, the Christmas Open day is not to be missed.

If anyone is looking to give a home to a new dog, cat, rabbit or guinea pig I would strongly urge you to visit this rescue or give them a call to discuss the type of animal that you are looking for.

Visit their website where you can find more information about the rescue, directions on how to get there and all the animals looking for forever homes. http://www.ncar.org.uk/
