Canine First Aid Workshop
Today I attended the above. I wanted to say it was such a good workshop, whether your going to just refresh or its your first time. It covered many areas that could happen whilst you are out and about with your dog(s) and how to apply the correct first aid. It's not a replacement for seeing a vet but it ensures the dog is attended to in the correct way to enable you to get to the vet. It also covers CPR (with a dummy dog) and applying leg and head bandages to real dogs.
Our course was held at Champion Dogs in Prenton and was run by a qualified veterinary nurse. Her contact details are www.rachelbean.co.uk 07788956164 01616260269. There is also a facebook page for Canine First Aid Workshops - UK North

Reference
I'm been walking Bryn for a while now but in June the family are moving to North Wales, so I will be saying fair well to my little friend. I'm going to have a hard time saying goodbye, you really get attached to the animals you care for. I have been given a reference from Zoe and Mike which I'd like to share.
Hazel has been walking our lurcher Bryn for two years now. Bryn was a very nervous rescue dog but Hazel is his bestfriend. Hazel takes him out for a fantastic walk and run each week day, where he has the time of his life. He always comes back to Hazel and even waits each morning, looking out of the window for her. I completely trust Hazel with Bryn and I am so glad we found her. She cares about Bryn so much and treats him like her own dog. I cannot recommend Hazel enough as a fantastic dog walker.
Zoe and Mike Lofts
Bryn with Freddie, they go out for walks 5 days per week. Freddie is going to miss Bryn so I'll be looking for a new friend for him.

Business going great and having a lovely time with all my clients
I've not updated the blog for a while but didn't realise it was that long ago. My business is still going strong, I have lots of lovely dogs to walk daily and various cats that I see on a regular basis. I'm very lucky indeed.
Today I'm off to a Canine First Aid course to refresh myself and hopefully pick up new information.
I'm also planning to get some new photos taken to update here.
